Through worship and music, we praise and honor God. Peace uses a variety of worship formats as well as both traditional and contemporary songs. Members assist with the worship services in a variety of ways—readers, communion assistants, ushers, audio-visual technicians, banner makers, etc. The musical groups that one can join are: ♦ Chancel Choir (traditional choir) ♦ Voices of Peace (contemporary choir) ♦ Praise Team (leads music at praise services) ♦ Brass Choir (brass instruments) ♦ Winds of Peace (woodwind instruments) ♦ Peace Ringers (adult bell choir)
Education Peace offers a variety of educational opportunities on Sunday morning and at other times during the month, including: ♦ Sunday School (age 3 - grade 12) ♦ Adult Learning (Sunday and midweek) ◊ Video Discussion Classes ◊ Bible Study Classes ◊ Lutheranism Classes ◊ Book Club ♦ Vacation Bible School (late Spring) ♦ Small Groups (in people’s homes) ♦ Catechism / Early Communion Classes ♦ Retreats (men’s and women’s) |
